Farmer Direct & Single Sourced

DIRECTLY FROM THE FARM TO YOUR SPICE BOTTLE

Noble House Spice works with thousands of black pepper farmers in Vietnam, saffron farmers in Afghanistan, and female farmers in Aleppo, Syria to bring you the best possible spice with the richest flavors and the cleanest product.  Our products will improve every year as we work to elevate and fine-tune the production practices with the farmers.  This unique relationship allows us to market unique products that will not be available through other distributors.

All Noble House Spice is hand-selected from farmers we directly trained and partnered with. Just like wine and chocolate, spice flavors differ based on the climate, soils, and the way it is harvested. We celebrate these differences and the farm regions that produce their unique flavors. Our single-sourced spices feature the highest quality farms we’ve identified around the world.

Strong relationships built on mutual benefit

Noble House Spice works directly with producers with technical support to improve production and harvest, from cultivating and sorting to cleaning and transportation, we oversee every step to ensure the spice you obtain is of unparalleled caliber.  In return, these farmers earn higher prices for their superior products, providing an incentive to further improve their products.

We focus our efforts on smallholder farmers growing in the best-growing regions. We clearly define our needs and provide support to elevate their production techniques.  As a result of our decade-long support, the farmers earn higher returns for their improved products.  Farmers earning fair returns grow better spice.

Close ties mean customizable options

In Vietnam, we work with over 3,400 black pepper farmers in Quang Tri Province, the former battlefield during the US-Vietnam conflict.  The farmers there are producing three custom black pepper products not available through the spice commodity chains.  In Afghanistan, we work directly with saffron growers and processors to get the longest, red saffron.  Without this direct connection to the farmers, there are limited improvements spice companies make with their products.

Our sourcing team is comfortable working in any part of the world.  We are working now to improve Aleppo Pepper from Aleppo, Syria, and wild Cumin growing naturally in northern Afghanistan.  We welcome unique product requests, product customization, and supply chain collaboration.
